aufgrund des Umzuges auf ein neues System war die Seite gestern nur teilweise erreichbar.

Die Downloads sind bis auf weiteres nicht verfügbar, da ich diese erst wieder uploaden muss.

Bitte habt da etwas gedult Die Downloads sollten bis ende der Woche wieder alle verfügbar sein.

Momentan werden die Server Statistiken geparst, auch könnt ihr wieder selber nach Cheatern auf unseren Care24 suchen indem ihr auf Server-Statistiken geht.

Solltet ihr dringend einen Download brauchen oder ein Fehler gefunden haben, schreibt mir hier einen Kommentar. Ich werde diesem dann erhöhte Priorität geben.

Die Gerüchteküche ist mal wieder am Brodeln was eigentlich im weitesten Sinne bekannt sein dürfte in Bezug auf Call of Duty Releases . Der US Marktanalyst Michael Pachter behauptet das es in Call of Duty - Black Ops ein ABO Service für den Multiplayer geben wird , was in Spielen  ,wie zum Beispiel World of Warcraft , schon lange praktiziert wird. Das heisst im Klartext PAY for PLAY ?!

Pachter zieht seine Spekulationen aus Statistiken :

"We estimate that four billion hours of game play have been spent on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 online multiplayer alone. 20 million game purchasers would have spent around 250 million hours finishing the single player and co-op campaign modes. The incremental 3.75 billion hours spent playing online multiplayer dwarfs this figure, and represents the equivalent of 15 full-game equivalents that were not purchased from any publisher."

Recht hat er auf jeden Fall mit seiner Spekulation. Welcher Publisher lässt sich so eine Goldgrube entgehen bzw lässt so ein Potential ungenutzt ???

Seitens Activision/Treyarch ist diesbezüglich jedoch nichts bekannt oder bestätigt, aber Pachter rechnet bei Release des Titels mit der Vorstellung des Abo Service für den Multiplayer.

Die Macher des 7. Teils der Call of Duty Serie geben nun Einblick in den Multiplayer des Games. Treyarchs Community Manager Josh "JD 2020" Olin twitterte einen Teaser , welcher auf Youtube zu bestaunen ist. Zu sehen gibt es etliche neue Perks , Killstreaks etc ... was aus CoD MW2 bekannt sein dürfte. Bleibt noch abzuwarten ob man als Serveradmin uneingeschränkten Zugriff zur Serverconfig hat , ob es je Modtools geben wird  uvm ...

The new version contains the three new maps (“Bespin”, “Bestine” and “Not A Cave”), a revised “Mos Eisly”, new weapons and also a new game type called Very Important Droid (VID). We hope you will enjoy playing!

Thanks to all who supported us within the last months. We are still stunned by the enormous feedback we have received. Around 50000 downloads and more than 700000 visitors on our YouTube Channels are the backbone of our motivation to go on with the mod. A lot of your ideas and recommendations are already integrated to this release and others will follow with the final version. There is for example still no further kill streak and Tie-Fighter as well as X-Wing are used instead of Tie-Bomber and Y-Wing. But those things are already in the works.

You will hopefully enjoy our new version of SWM: Galactic Warfare for the time being and we hope to see you on our server for some battle.

Treyarch nimmt nun jeden wilden Spekulationen die Luft aus den Segeln und gibt offiziell den Namen des neuesten Abkömmlings der Call of Duty Serie bekannt: CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS . Heute ging auch eine Teaserseite online , welche unter callofduty.com/blackops zu erreichen ist. Dort werden demnächst weitere Details  des Vietnam Shooters (?) preisgegeben. Das Releasedatum steht wohl auch schon fest , wie der Seite zu entnehmen ist. Ob Activision von ihren Fehlern gelernt hat wird sich zeigen...
